I had never been to Glasgow’s famous House for an Art Lover before, but wow it really was a beautiful venue for Claire and Pride’s winter wedding. Despite pretty miserable West coast weather, the light for the ceremony was truly stunning. (So were Claire and her bridesmaids!) This traditional but emotional Scottish day with an African twist really was too gorgeous for words…
A taster of things to come…
I can’t believe 2012 is already upon us! We are soooo lucky and grateful for the happiness that 2011 brought us… a wonderful wedding of our very own, lots of babies (especially our gorgeous new niece Jemima and delicious nephew Joe), as well as so many memories with both old and new friends. We were so lucky to be asked to photograph weddings all over the country and shared so many days full of gorgeousness. It was crazy stressful at times but mostly just brilliant. We do know how lucky we are, so without sounding too cheesy…thank you to everyone who made our year wonderful! xxx
I must say though…2012 is looking pretty hot already! We have got soooo much coming up that we are really excited about…a competition or two, wedding fairs, a bridal shoot, loads of engagement shoots, our first tipi wedding, a wedding at One Marylebone(!) loads of countryside chic, and of course our best friends’ wedding (featuring moi as bridesmaid and Lilly- May as flower girl…eek!) Exciting stuff!
As a result of my lack of commitment to blogging (it is my New Year’s resolution to get better…hopefully!!), we have still got two beautiful winter weddings left from the end of last year to share with you. I promise they’ll be coming really soon, but just to tide you over, take a peek at these…trust me it is worth the wait!!
